Noah Hobbs seems to be leading virtually every competition. Not bad for a 19 year old.

Wonder if he'll be able to hang on during the Queen stage tomorrow (but hopefully not like he did in the Baby Giro).

Julius Johansen crashed into a pouf and went flying into the verge. First time I've seen that.

Shame there wasn't a dyke there to land in really

Mads P utterly annihilated the field. 16km TT and he took them for 24"
With that he took the GC from Skjelmose who was 4" ahead at the start. Mads on a short TT course is lethal.

  • Roglic with his trademark final 100 metre kick.
The whole climb reduced to a bit of a yawn.

Mads has been in beast mode since the World's - wasn't going to waste all that form. He's just blowing stuff up for fun now.

    Yes, aka BinckBank aka Eneco.

I don't think the rebranding has helped interest - I had no idea what it was.
  • Isaac del Toro takes Mexico's first ever L'Avenir win and does so on the mighty Col de la Loze.
Big time gaps behind the first two riders.

A very impressive rider and only 19 so qualifies for the young rider jersey. If there were bonus seconds, he'd be 10 seconds closer to the yellow jersey. Without the ridiculously unfair TTT, he'd be wearing it. Definitely a rider to watch.

Huge attack from Cecilie Uttrup Ludvig with 1km to go on the finish climb in Tour of Scandinavia. Got the stage win and sealed the points jersey, but 2 seconds from retaking the GC from Van Vleuten

  • Del Toro currently riding himself into the yellow jersey by some margin.

There’d be a lot of criticism of the route of this women’s Classic Lorient race if it was being held in Spain. Some of the traffic calming they’re being taken through is ridiculous. Luckily they are riding it like a club run in the peloton 5 minutes behind a 3 rider break.

The whole DSM squad for the ToB is at a beer festival in Rivington that I am currently at.

Not drinking beer mind - they've been hooning coffee like it's going out of fashion

  • The Bretagne Classic - Ouest-France (formerly the GP Plouay) takes place the day after the woman's race.
The whole race is live on GCN/ES player.

The Tour of Qatar also starts today. (formerly the Tour of Britain) Whole race coverage on ITV 4.
If anyone is expecting a thread to appear - it won't be coming from me.

  • Oh and if the 3 live European races aren’t enough for some, there’s the Maryland Cycling Classic live from five. (Pm obs)
It’s got a half decent field preparing for the Canadian WT races.

The GP Quebec is on. A nine man group including 11 Jumbo Visma riders has a twenty minute lead.

Not really. Four man break only 40s ahead with 50km to go.

Quebec: Arnaud De Lie gets his first WT win.

With 1k to go with three Jumbo Visma on the front, I feared the worst.

Pretty incredible sprint from De Lie to win from so far back. Super strong and determined.

Sivakov looks like he's making a point about his non-selection for the Vuelta as he took second today behind Hirschi at Coppa Sabatini

The best bit of this race was Carapaz launching a huge sprint for third place with a lap to go. He was so cooked afterwards that he couldn't stay with the rest of the group and got dropped.

The Ecquadorian National, champ, otherwise known as Caparaz if the Brian Smith’s co-commentator is to be believed. He did alter his naming part way through the GCN coverage.
