    We played pretty well. Although on the bright side we saw Ronaldo crytoday and we were better than Scotland ever have been and ever will be :)

    Hard part is you don’t often have a squad capable of winning a World Cup. Youngish team but might be lacking a Kane in 4 years.

    Agree on the spirit and two good sides. I genuinely thought on the night though that England were much better. France struggled to get out their own half after their first goal. They reduced Mbappe to a bit part, just sloppy defending for the Giroud goal and an inability to make our dominance count that cost us.

    I think Kane knew Lloris knew where it was going and just went for it too much to make sure he couldn't get across to make a save. Can't knock the guy though, 53 goals for us and never shirks responsibility.
