  • Load of people not happy that Kane will be wearing a rainbow captains armband.

‘No place for politics in sport’
‘Should only be a badge, name and number on shirts’ etc, etc.

Same people sending death threats to James McLean for not wearing a poppy on his shirt.

    Utter, utter wallopers.

And now with 48 hours notice, there's no beer going to be allowed to be sold to fans in the stadiums.

I told you all we use their gas for heating and electric and provided the evidence. Why is this thread still continuing?

If you want to plead the moral high ground you shouldn't be on the internet in the first place.

No excitement for it, but I'll be watching, and in the absence of an Irish team, I'll be jumping on the Welsh bandwagon

What will you do the other two weeks?

They’re not. Doesn’t stop people spouting that tosh though.

Similarly not wearing a poppy doesn’t make you a ‘traitor’.

It is more complex than political or not political.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I think people are entitled to earn money from people or organisations they don't entirely agree with without moralising about it.

The problem here is not Beckham or the tourist lot who are using Beckham to advertise their country as a tourist destination; neither of which is problematic.

You've got a nation run by an absolutist monarch who believes, like most parts of that region, in Sharia law, and that persecutes gays.

I don't think Beckham by saying on his videos that he respects local customs that he's saying it's great they're imprisoning gays or that you should go if you are gay.

Lycett has gone on record about visiting places in sub-saharan Africa where the leaders are responsible for all sorts of war crimes, let alone persecuting homosexuals and has said they're beautiful they are and worth visiting (for free no less), so how is that much different?
