Xitter really pushing lots of MAGA tweets in my 'For you' feed, thanks to Muskytroll. It does cheer me up blocking all the advert tweet accounts - as far as I'm concerned they are as bad as all the bought-blue-checkmark accounts. It's getting worse by the week, and you have to work really hard to make the experience bearable/useful.

Just got my invite to it, so will give it a go. Got to be better than Musk's MAGA-X

If it's so damn good how come they've got an X account?

Does the world need more apps that only allow communication between people with the app?

Well, AI can fill in the gaps. It could massage one's ego in the process and there will be no need for actual human interaction.

I used to really enjoy the news coverage I got from following the journalists and city analysts I liked etc on Twitter. Even better when they actually reasonably discussed said analysis/news.
I really noticed they all left in droves about 4 months ago, and now the comments underneath a popular post, which used to be the more interesting posts are now just spam and pornbots.
bluesky is just old Twitter.

Well, I've activated my account, but will have to spend some time finding the journos and news sources I like to refer to. There's still a lot on Xitter, but I spend as much time blocking ads and Musk troll posters as actually getting content now... it's really just turning into his own version of Trump's Truth Social.
And I really hate how politics now seems to be all about tweets, and the comments under tweets are 99.99% pointless (and never read by the politicians who tweeted. It's really corrosive to any sort of constructive discourse.

I don't get the love for certain journalists. Not sure I could name one I would want to follow.

Maybe he's genius. Maybe he's showing the world in not only how to shoot oneself in the foot but shoot both feet.

For the record, stainless steel does stain. It just stains less.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.1 -
Remind me, didn't Musk buy Twitter so he could clear up the bot problem?

Just in case anyone was wondering if Musk is still a Trumpian jerk, a thread (he even removed a Community Note fact-checking him on, well, everything in his tweet):

Given that German tree huggers and anti-capitalists are making it hard for Tesla over there, should the UK tempt The Messiah to come to our shores? Or is he just a very naughty boy to be ignored?
