Maybe you should be an architector, then everything would be fine.

It is yes. As there are more software architects it would be helpful if you could identify yourselves as "building architects" or "house designers" or something similar.

You are free to architect an appropriate term.
Go get yourself an Act of Parliament if you want a protected title. 😛

More seriously, why not just use 'designed' if the function is essentially similar albeit with different materials?

All I know is the only way to design and achieve this, is greatness.

Look at the architecture of the support structure, Norman Foster would be proud of that.

    That thing is frikkin hooge.
For the energy to get that up into space (and back), how many cars would you have to take off the road for an equivalence?
It doesn't run on petrol, and thankfully we don't generally power cars with hydrogen fuelled rocket motors. So difficult to calculate a meaningful comparison.
    I hope you're not a physicist...

    That's the spirit.

I've done some musing on the language thread, as it's genuinely interesting, but nothing to do with Musk.

Musk's used his platform to say Americans should vote Republican. Quite amusing to see the share price falling in real time.

I assumed Pinno was thinking of emissions. Clearly the energy needed to lift a big thing into orbit is also big.

Why not 'trafficated'? As in a very busy road with lots of traffic on it.
    The road was very trafficated.

I remember going around Cape Canaveral and being staggered at the size of all the numbers associated with the Saturn 5 project. It reaches a point when you are adding fuel to lift the fuel that you added to lift the rocket.
Yes, heavy and dense - pressurised.

Yeah it's a fair point. I did see this though which sounds hopeful.

Energy startup Green Hydrogen International (GHI) is planning to develop a new project based in South Texas.
The hub plans to supply billionaire Elon Musk’s SpaceX with green hydrogen for the rocket company’s methane-powered rocket engines.
Other uses for the abundant, colorless gas include adding it to ammonia for fertilizers and generating environmentally friendly jet fuels.
Mars evangelist and SpaceX founder Elon Musk may soon have an easier time going green.

Green Hydrogen International (GHI), a Texas-based energy startup, announced plans last week to develop a brand-new green hydrogen project—the world’s largest—in South Texas. GHI says some of the hydrogen from this project will be used to develop clean rocket fuel for Elon Musk’s aerospace company SpaceX.

Except it would be far better to use the green hydrogen for domestic energy and propulsion.

I remember being fascinated by my godmother's trafficators. And no, that's not a euphemism.
  • Twitter now introducing a new "Official" tick in addition to the blue one that you can pay for. Mind boggling.

Also funny that the first account I see with that tick just generally posts stuff like this:

You are aware one of his gigafactories and the one that builds his Superchargers is in Shanghai on state-owned land?
