    Edit:

Seems this story was not accurate and Starlink coverage of the Crimea was never enabled in the first place. So not the apparent pulling of the plug at the last minute.

I see XBoy is buddying up with the balding sex trafficking guy to back the kind of man that sends a car round to a school to pick up a school girl.

He's also floating the idea of charging to access it in the first place, for everyone. I'm not sure he understands why it gets used so much. If he can't monetise that traffic, then I'm not sure he's a genius.

Not sure if that's nice photography, or a nice render.
Either way, it's not a nice car.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I think that's been Photoshopped. Everyone knows that Tesla can only make cars in white, black or grey (but mainly white),

Tesla cars are all X-rated now.

How does that truck pass any of the safety requirements?!
  • It's just hideous and that should be an end to the discussion.

I tried to find an image of a child's drawing of an SUV to compare it to.
They were all too good. 🤣

One of his problems is that much of the traffic/users are fraudulent.
Another of his problems is that advertisers do not see it as a brand safe environment

I have mentioned before that I see a hge disconnect between those of you who use Twitter and those of us who don't for whom it is irrelevant. My only interaction with the Twitterati is on here and I am surprised that none of you would pay £20 a year to stay on it.

I suspect Musk is fed up being quoted fanciful user numbers and wants to shake out the dross which he can not monetise.

It hasn't passed them yet, it's still in preproduction. I don't think the USA has any regulations on safety for pedestrians that get hit.

This could get spicy for Musky. EU calling out Xitter for allowing disinformation (especially prompted re Israel/Gaza) to spread on the platform. 24 hours to respond.

  • Another extension - this time it tries to undo what Elon has done to twitter.

I wonder why Musk would be questioning the funding model of Wikipedia...Obviously it was beyond him just to look it up.

It's no real surprise given the last year that Musk has no idea how popular websites work.

I might have been being disingenuous... I suspect he doesn't like an alternative model/source of information that doesn't fit his increasingly conspiracy-theory trollish world view. The "Inquiring minds want to know" is the same as "Just asking the question" ruse to push conspiracy theories. I think he's some way down the rabbit hole, with no reverse gear.

Yeah, another big problem is car insurance inflation. That's another thread in itself.

Fookin inflation. I told all you fookers don't get used to historically low IR's (historic graph n $h1t).

Apologies for the language, but that inflation is a right fooker, for fook sake! The worst type of inflation is p1ss taking inflation and there has been plenty of that.

The model 3 is a great car though and you have to hand it to Musk for showing brushless motor/s and batteries are production viable.

It staggers me too now that the vast majority of people buy new cars on the drip. This can't be good with their elevated prices and higher repayment costs.

Higher car prices, higher repayment costs, higher insurance cost, something has to give.

Maybe more people will be forced into public transport.

Meh, if you're going to buy a spanking new car, you're most likely not into making responsible financial decisions anyway!

It really is incredible what Musk has achieved with Telsa, SpaceX, StarLink, X and Neuralink. What a guy!

    Exactly Jezyboy.
