    Well yes. The only terrain where WvA is better is a proper mountain. If MvdP ever trained for TTs he'd smash WvA there too.

    Bettini was a famous descender. He won MSR with some risky moves. A quote at the time was if you followed Bettini, you could die. 2006 Lombardia in WC jersey was a masterclass. 40 mins on You Tube
