Just get an Eccles cake much nicer and available all year round. I recommend the M&S ones they sell on their bakery counter.

^Perfect cycling snack, but ones with with sugar on top are too messy.

Tis gloomy enough.
Sainsbury’s baked in store. This batch on the edge of being over done but works in its favour. Excellent flakey crunch to the pastry which would benefit from a pinch of salt and a smidge more butter. Well filled with a fruity mincemeat. Solid 4/4.25 out of 5.
