    Brand - so consistent. Good result for Worst, played Betsema well.
    Looking forward to watching the last couple of races, i'll miss the CX.

    Both yesterday's races at Gavere were great viewing, but the men's race was one I'll remember for years. I don't think I've seen a race where the top riders have gone all in so early on before, it was like watching two boxers go toe to toe but four fighters instead of two.

    Just finished the men's race from yesterday. Wife's comment? That's not proper cyclocross. They're too clean!

    Gavere is a great course, one of the classics, a true test of a rider with a bit of everything.
    And we got winners who've both had successful seasons; Brand has been the best, and most consistent rider over the whole season. Lars has had a sort of comeback; European & Dutch champion, won a World Cup, and a Worlds silver medal.

    And a mention for an excellent 4th place for Zoe; as a junior that's some result. Will be interesting to see where she goes, after all the Tormans transfer news.

    During the Womens race yesterday they had some cracking coverage provided by a drone following Brand. Wondered what happened to it during the mens.     It's not a surprise really, even if it's disappointing. I'm sure there's a H&S issue in case it crashes for some reason.....but it was fabulous coverage.

    The drone footage they're using for downhill ski racing now is awesome.

    Yea, drone footage should be the future of coverage, if they're allowed to use it. Going by comments on Twitter, it may have been not just a UCI ruling, possibly aviation authorities.....

    In the MTB World Cups they'll often have a motorcyclist ahead of the field, like on the road filming backwards.

    We have to remember that he's just a 28 year old boy. He's not able to make decisions for himself. He shouldn't be banned. It's his coaches that are responsible for this, not him. It's millennial abuse.

    Just listened to the latest episode of the Geraint Thomas Cycling Club podcast. Has Zoe Backstedt on it. She is 17. Worth a listen, she comes across as so mature.

    Unlike Adam Blythe on the Watts Occurring podcast who, unless taking the proverbial, heads off down the conspiracy fruitcake corridor. Yeah, he's taking the pixx. Please.

    Anyone know what happened to the womens cross today? Wanted to start catching up with todays cycling but only the mens cross is showing.

    I watched on the Eurosport player. It had started so I swiped it back to start and watched the full race. Did the same with the mens.
    Just had a look on today’s schedule and the demand videos and the womens race is not there.
    Hopefully it will reappear.

    Yeah, it was weird.
    I had it on Eurosport player, and it was playing music, even after the race start time; so I changed to the Eurosport website, and watched it there. There was also a problem at the start of the mens.......

    Don't think tomorrow's race is on, so that's it for the season. Now for the MTB season, should also be a belter....
