    Kuss checking out the verge

Seconds after I said it was a nasty descent.

It was on a fairly innocuous corner though - Kuss looked to be moving up and the rider in front swung out wider than was necessary.

    Nice climb (to look at)

Nice climb to ride too. Looking over to the left you can see the Peyousarde.
I did film a short video while going up. Ruined by the huffing and puffing. 😉
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Did Carlton suggest that commercial aircraft fly at 2,300m altitude?

Well, they do. On their way up to 12000 ;)
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

I remember the stretch that the leaders are going up now is just a long, long, relentless slog.

The bus looks to have around 20-25 minutes wriggle room on this final climb. Should be fairly comfortable.

We should have had a sweepstakes on by how much Pogacar will be leading after today's stage.
    I reckon 7'-15"

The World Champ and some random old Colombian bloke are dropped.

We've seen it very often this tour but it still amazes me how fresh Pog looks compared to everyone else. Either that or it's a case of "can't read my poker face"

I read that first time as between 7 and 15 minutes which is probably about right.

He's probably flying higher than that on his Vicks inhaler.

Porte finds himself in a familiar position.

ITV definitely seem to push the charity appeal ads during the TDF, I'm not aware of cyclists being considered a particularly charitable bunch?

Cheap advertising blocks. Say what you like about Kirby, he's infinitely better company than the RSPCA showing you horribly abused pets.
