Wearing the yellow jersey does something to you.
no-one expected Alaphillipe to TT well in it and he smashed everyone

Carapaz not on a great day

Last year he was also terrible in the TT, so not a surprise.

He is simply a climber, not a real GC like Pogacar is.

Think UAE would probably quite like that

    MvdP in 5th, keeps yellow

I'd consider some TT practice if I was him, that's a great ride for his 9th TT

    Can MVDP climb?
Is he likely to go backwards in the mountains?

Good effort by mvdp to keep yellow for another day, while throwing away some aero by not wearing a visor.

Pog in another world than everyone else in every discipline.

What’s he going to be like when he gets a bit older and actually reaches his prime.

Apart from crashes it’s game over. Pog just going to ride to make sure he doesn’t win it by too much, don’t want too many eyebrows raised.

He can climb better than Bernal as he has dropped him this year. So he is pretty good.

The question is, is it wise for him to burn all his matches for short term glory in the TdF and pay the price at the Olympics.

He's mixing it in amongst the podium finishers in the world champs. Not shabby.

    *Blows own trumpet*

Mikkel Berg smashed it. True Viking.

I reckon Pog will have a good one, they may have reconned together

Also, have I mentioned Jonas Vingegaard at all?...
