Let’s face it GBN is one of the few areas where Mogg won’t ruffle any feathers.0

I'm not excited, just interested as to how much self righteous leftie indignation it might generate.kingstongraham said:
I think you're the only cake stopper who has expressed excitement about watching him give his opinions on the latest monocles or a buyer's guide to penny farthings.Stevo_666 said:
I was right then. Mind you, there may be a few calls to the fire brigade if enough Cake Stoppers tune into watch JRMkingstongraham said:

I haven't watched it since the launch, but may have to go see what everybodys favourite Tory is saying.kingstongraham said:
If you watch, I think you'll have to report back on it.Stevo_666 said:

I don't think you'll spontaneously combust if you tune in. And there are no fines for a mistake like that."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]2 -
Had this discussion with a group of kids recently and they understood it far better than most adults...DeVlaeminck said:Jezyboy said:Bastion of free speech...isn't it the place someone had to resign for taking the knee BLM style?
Oh you mean free speech but not like that, never like that.
What is it I always read - freedom of speech isn't freedom from consequence. We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

For he who thinks a Mogg chatshow sounds fun, Talk TV are also launching "Friday Night with Nadine". Verily one's cup runneth over.0

Speaks volumes that senior party members are focusing on lining up their next career step.
Whilst I’m all for planning, it’s almost as if they’re planning their escape from a sinking vessel.
Irony being it’s the cretins that started it sinking who are jumping first.0 -
That will almost certainly be more interesting. At least there will be comedy gold with her. Anyone turning the JRM thing on will assume they’ve stumbled on a particularly boring, poorly made and cliche ridden costume drama.kingstongraham said:For he who thinks a Mogg chatshow sounds fun, Talk TV are also launching "Friday Night with Nadine". Nadine Boris features regularly on Mark Steel's 'What the F*** Is Going On?' podcast. Comes across as consistent on there.0

Watch out, in the past random posters have been flagging anything critical of the wonderful Nadine0

On that basis, it shouldn't be long before Icke-wannabe Neil Oliver is given the same ultimatum. He's full-on nuts.1

Do you think Oliver is basing his image on the influential right-wing radio personality, Brett O'Keefe character from Homeland Series 6 & 7?briantrumpet said:On that basis, it shouldn't be long before Icke-wannabe Neil Oliver is given the same ultimatum. He's full-on nuts.
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

I’ve seen Neil Oliver’s GBN monologues on Youtube home page. I thought hmm the guy from Coast. I tried to watch one once out of curiosity. Didn’t last 60 seconds, going on about vaccinations etc. So then I read the comments “he do speak the truth”, “thank goodness Neil is here to tell it like it is”.

Thanks - an interesting read, and with substance, I think.1 -
Thank F that Oliver bloke got binned out of his lead role in National Trust for Scotland.
It's a shame he's gone mental. I liked Coast back in the day. It's a bit like Graham Linehan, he of Father Ted fame, lost his mind over trans issues.0 -
That's lovely stuff. Just the sort of attention to detail you'd expect.0
-
What an advert for your counsel skills. Not only will you lack the attention to detail that will mean you miss statements that are totally the opposite of what you intend, but you'll also speak to journalists about your relationship.0
-
Not sure why he was bothered, no-one would have been watching and it is only his reaction that has meant it got attention.0

He really enjoyed telling them how unprofessional they were.Pross said:Not sure why he was bothered, no-one would have been watching and it is only his reaction that has meant it got attention.

Looks like GB News is trying to get the Fox News exemption from Ofcom for being 'GB Definitely Not News', otherwise it would fall foul of Ofcom rules about news channels. I'm sure Tory Michael Grade (chairman of Ofcom) wouldn't let them off otherwise... shurely...
