20% maybe - forgot about Grolsch...

Is it made in the same place? Like Chinese carbon fibre wheels?
    No, I don't think so...

There is a certain amount of regional pride in each one, albeit that national distribution is pretty universal
    I'll stick to sauv blanc.
One from the industrial vats, or feet in a bucket?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Vat level then. The Heineken/Stella of Marlboroughs.

Back to the football. Annoyances - Fouls given because someone has the temerity to get in the way of a goalie.

Don't know how that's a free kick to the keeper. Comes out for a ball he's never gonna get, gets blocked and taken out by his own defender and then there's contact from Witsel, but only because Chiellini takes him out too

What isn't that makes it to these shores? If I absolutely had to choose it would be a Sancerre or Chablis, but those are hardly footie wines.

Gotta say that I've taken to Chiellini's personality.

Ach, gutted for Belgium, but Italy were better I'm afraid...

Think you were right about this being the real final though

He will be monitored this evening for embolisms. That's commitment right there.

Italy looked good, but they will do well to recover from some very serious looking injuries before the semi. They played on bravely for the duration of the match.

Just watched it back - he took them off and threw them into the crowd.

Random thought for the day. Could football coverage not take a lesson from cycling and have a choice of ambient sound cutting out all the pundit nonsense?

    Eurosport has lots of options.

It was £20 for a year on offer earlier this year. It's ridiculously good value.
  • I think it is going to be a scrappy 1-0 to England tonight with lots of question marks over the performances and a couple more yellow cards.

Sorry, for me I mean. I don't watch tennis,.which seems to be 90% of what's on, and I rarely watch pro cycling because frankly it's a bit dull. Last time I considered it, it was something like £12 a month. Was a while ago mind.

£20/year and this year's racing has been very entertaining.
Other sports are available too. Each to their own.

Anyway, currently watching the football with the sound off but could do with some atmosphere.
