    Sterling was unbelievable.

    And Kane is back.

Complete domination. Playing with kind of composure as some of the great Germans teams of old.

Who were the numpties that suggested dropping Kane?

Remarkable how different he looks if you play the ball into the box to him. (And he doesn't get marked by two defenders.)

Remarkable, who’d have thought a world class striker would score two goals and nearly a third if you had a little patience to stick with him 😉

And change the way the team plays so you actually give him chances.

The media are going to be unbearable tomorrow.

Why not just say well done England?
It was a convincing win but I've already heard the BBC talking about the final when they haven't even played their semi. I've got no problem with the England football team, Wales are out and I don't really care who wins. It's just all the build up to every match and, if they happen to lose, the big post-mortem into what went wrong again as the media and large parts of the supporters have decided they'll win.

Oh, and that fucking song - they were singing in the pub watching the England v Scotland game on my stag do and it's my silver wedding anniversary in a few weeks. It has now been nearly as long since it came out as the 30 years of hurt they mention and it still hasn't come home

At least we have a chance of it coming home ;)

Semi finals are pretty easy, Wales has a 50% success rate of making it that far.

The Ukrainian fans were doing a great job of supporting their team with drums and slow-fast clap. I thought there was a firework display outside the stadium to start with.

Last 4 are all in top 7 of Europe on ELO aren’t they? And they all knocked out the other three

Which begs the question why give the top seeds even more advantage?

Well, there appears to be a core element of Ingerlaand supporters who make it loud and clear they don't like. Wonder why? 🤔

Replay some of the group stage matches, say the pre kick off and at half time whistle in Scotland game for example. See if you can hear anything 'wrong'.

Do you think you'd hear them now the team is performing well?

Maybe some people were expecting more than a draw against Scotland, given the relative strength of the two teams?

The 'element' in discussion were described in one of the kickball podcasts, can't recall which, as a bunch of middle aged overweight white blokes with their tops off which made them look like thumbs. That would be the bunch who build the rapport with 'their' team by booing the taking the knee and so on and so on.

And as a comparison, Scotland got completely out-Modriced and sent packing. Sad. Home crowd applauded them off the pitch at the end. That is support.

They make do with sectarianism during the league season.

Do you mean akin to how the British general public voted for Sir Chris Hoy, Geraint Thomas, Sir Andy Murray (twice), Ryan Giggs and Joe Calzaghe in recent years to win Sports personality of the year award?

The people you quote aren't a reflection of the general public Orraloon. In fact you are as bad as the people you quote for your bias stance.

It's notable that elements within the government completely miscalled the public reaction to the players taking the knee.
