Come on let see a flying header.0

If England are supposed to create on the turnover we have a problem. There is no collective movement forward and rlthey are stopping, pointing, passing back and sideways, and you wonder why Germany have 8 men behind the ball.0
-
If he could up his speed of movement, Harry Kane would make our local crown green bowling team. One of the England team needs to give him an injury so it is back to 11 each side.0
-
How exciting was that?0

I've been watching the build up. England clearly saving energy. Should be good once the game starts.0

I suspect it has more to do with the memory of stolen bikes fadingrick_chasey said:
I think there's still a £1 per month offer for 12 months - I picked one up around christmas.Ben6899 said:rick_chasey said:
If you have a subbie this is really good on the German perspective of the rivalry.Ben6899 said:Pross said:Dan Roan just did his introduction on the BBC News that he is at Wembley ahead of England's historic match against Germany. What is historic about it or is it just Dan Roan being a tw*t as usual?
I hate how we big up every match we play against Germany. The response in Germany, being drawn against England, couldn't be more indifferent if they tried.
Of course, much of England thinks we're still fighting WWII.

I don't have a sub (thought I should perhaps - the headlines I have seen recently look really interesting), but I get - and agree with - the jist from the link!
Article says it's a bit like west ham - Tottenham - one cares, the other has bigger rivalries.
Another point is that a lot of the German players have a real reverence for modern English football. Joshua Kimmich (“playing at Wembley is possibly the most beautiful thing there is”)
Overall the point is that there haven't been any meaningful matches between England and Germany recently.
They're terrified of the Italians who regularly knock them out in big spots. Even the Dutch rivalry is waning as plenty of Dutch play in Germany so they don't care as much and again they haven't had any big matches recently. It's really something only the older fans care about as they remember the finals and semi-finals in the '70s and '80s

The good news is that England have mediocrity in depth to come off the bench.0

To brighten things up, have some David Squires

Not sure why but kane has not fired in this tournament.
Someone needs to make him angry as he looks like he's in second gear[Castle Donington Ladies FC - going up in '22]0 -
Half time team talk.

We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Does Sterling realise he's not Lionel Messi?0

For the neutral (😊 #ABE) this is rather boring. Partic compared with the matches yesterday.0

It's only the second worst game of the tournament.0

YES! Great passing and goal.0

How is it still 1-0?0

Bloody hell, I can't believe that. Perhaps it is our day!0
