Its not teally started off very well tbh - looking for a new manager. squillions to spend on wages, players, training grounds, etc and they get.......

    ........ Frankie L.

Its not really Pep is it?

Yeah, but who wants a bloke who can't win the CL with the most expensive squad in England? We'll keep Tuchel, thanks.

I predict he is an interim manager just for this season.
blimey - who turned you into Mystec Meg?

But why bother getting tid of Bruce to put someone else in who will probably have the same end result, sack him and pay him off a few more million?

Bruce is on a £7 mio payout, Frankie would get a few....... Its not exactly starting on a good financial basis.

Or is it the best they can get because even - even! - footy managers may have morals?

If so, its only a matter of time before Allardyce has his snout in the trough.

Bruce was on his way out before the take over.
A couple of players in at Christmas to steady the ship and start for real next season.
Which top flight manager would move right now, to Newcastle?

Watching England v Hungary. Hungary defending deep and England struggling to break through. No wonder when we're playing with 3 players plus the goalkeeper behind the ball in possession!

In tournament football not conceding trumps scoring.

There's also the risk that Newcastle might become a good team again...

When were they a good team?

I mean, they pretended for a bit under Keegan, but they were never gonna win anything.

Wikipedia tells me that they were won the league 3 times between 1905-1909
    Champions: 1904–05, 1906–07, 1908–09, 1926–27

to put that into perspective with another sleeping giant Spurs have only won it twice but the most recent only 60 years ago.

Chelsea sacked a Champions League winning manager and is anyone convinced Arteta is the long term answer for Arsenal?

I'm not sure what difference it makes either way. All this 'Big Club' stuff is a load of nonsense.

Any other dwindling PL club would've snapped the offer up, given the opportunity.

"Wenger out" in hindsight must embarrass so many arsenal fans.

Turns out he was elevating the team beyond their capabilities with another manager.

Your highlighting your football ignorance Stevo (yay Chelsea, I’m loud when they’re winning 😉) no, not before your time. He managed them as well as playing for. “I will love it!” Remember?

Oh i don't know. Most of the football fans i know are pretty critical of the Man City ownership and also of the Saudi takeover of Newcastle. Most of the press articles i've seen have included a lot of coverage regarding human rights abuses/state murder.

Manure and their plastic fanbase have never given a shite about anything apart from their financial bottom line - they've got away with this sort of tjing for years and will continue to do so.

5-0, at home, to their biggest rivals, with 20 minutes to go, against a side playing in 3rd gear :D:D
