Most of the race is off the back

Yes it’s been quite fast since about 110km

Presumably because it was so slow earlier

Starts getting into the danger zone in about 10-20km

Kanarieberg then into the first Kwaremont Patersberg combo

Kirby back in 7kms until the end.
Anybody know what other language Eurosport commentators are any good?

Why are they doing it? This is as good a commentary pairing as you'll get in English language.
    Why indeed.
Beggars belief given its the time in the race you need the commentary to be on the ball, not waffling about completely unrelated fluff.

Oh FFS, left the room briefly and came back to over-excited screaming and "gnarly".

One thing I noticed straight away is tone of voice. Dan Lloyd sounds relaxed and engaged and Kirby just screeching

Conor Swift is up for it today
  • Night and day change in the commentary.

Simply unimaginable that Quick Step would not exploit such a crash.
Yet, everybody now sits up and waits.

If you have the ES player, try the Dutch.
It's minimalist and they didn't raise an octave when the crash happened.
I hope Kirby didn't give anyone a heart attack.

MvdP just somehow rode off the front with Asgreen while the cameras were planning the bunch. WVA pulling it back.
