    Jungels is no longer massive.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

BOTD: Bilbao, Ganna, Ballerini, R Stannard, J Rickaert.
They have a lead of a little over 2 minutes after 60kms of today's stage.

What's the opinion on van Aert's performance yesterday?

I thought pretty good - no team to help him once Thomas and then Pogacar went, but on a climb like that, obviously just not as good as the top class climbers on that kind of hill. Any steeper and he'd have found it tough. If he'd had Kruijswijk or Bennett as a domestique once Ineos disappeared I don't know whether the stage would have panned out differently but I imagine only that he wouldn't have lost those few seconds to the rest of his group.

For a top class sprinter it's remarkable.

Yeah, It's weird that it's 'disappointing isnt it? It's actually still an astonishing performance.

Must be said that he has been very happy to do a lot of the work when perhaps he didn't need to. You could maybe make an argument that it's 'cos Cycloscross' but I struggle to believe that it's tactical naivety. Perhaps he's using the race for training a little more than he's letting on.
We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Is that because they're all chasing Ganna?

Tailwind all the way up the coast.

This is so annoying. I have had to put the race on mute and forgo the odd word that Kirby permits Dan Lloyd.

    Love it.
I think I’ll throw a hand grenade in bunch with 65 kms of tortuous terrain to go!

It’s been great entertainment all week.

Can’t get enough of watching MVDP. He feels good so he attacks and rips the race to shreds, doesn’t care how far there is to go or who else is in the group.

Some proper "beast mode engaged" performances today from Pogacar and MVDP

Is he human? van der Poel looking in some danger here. He looks really knackered and losing time quickly. One minute advantage, 3.5km to go.
