Last game of the evening should be a cracker. NZ vs SA and itโs a must win for the Boks 7.

Interesting, there is an Ireland 7s team, with one player, Zac Ward from Northern Ireland. Is this because the team is part of the IRFU, or has Ward opted to play for Ireland as there is no Team GB? ๐ค
Dual nationality?

Northern Irish get a choice of who they represent at the Olympics (I recall there being a big fuss about which way McIlroy was going to go)

No Blokes allowed?

Rhys Mcclenaghan, who is a gold medal favourite in gymnastics is the same. He will represent Ireland at the games.

As ever though, Fiji show everyone how to do it!

I don't like 7s and it shouldn't be an Olympic sport.

The Saffa try scored when in the red card movement had a forward pass that went about 10m forward.
Thought the 6 Aussies had it, but sadly the conversion didn't go over.

Nothing Iโve seen so far is convincing me my opinion on 7s is wrong.

I like it but the matches are too short.

Must say that I'm enjoying it. It's like a highlights reel.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Thatโs the issue for me. How France v SA was 0-0 at half time is beyond me. Playing on a full sized pitch with fewer than half the normal number of players in a game where the full version is all about creating space.

Meh, DuPont effectively sat out the Giro DโItalia to concentrate on the Olympic Road Race.

France were very good in that final.
Anyone think Dupointe might have a future in rugby?
Not sure he'd make much of a road cyclist though. Maybe a trackie.
