If you remember, it used to be a staggering 60 cap rule. It’s actually 25 caps now.
The WRU will ditch it: just as soon as folks stop turning up to internationals, paying their excessive prices and it hits them in the pocket.

Really? It was the first time I’ve felt Italy were favourites coming into the match against Wales.

I thought he was referring to the final score and try, I didn't see that coming

Perhaps @pblakeney was referring to Wales scoring 🤣

It’s obvious to anyone. What is the point in forcing your young players to play in Regions that get beaten week in, week out? The WRU are blind to how bad the Regions are and their answer for the past 20 years has been to keep juggling with the club structure and making them the scapegoats.

Anyway, come on Scotland.

Absolutely no merit in having mics pick up the players singing the anthems.

So far the teams are cancelling each other out.
After the awful first match, I had hoped for a Celtic extravaganza.

For clarification, I meant the final try. Two come to that…

Wouldn’t have wanted to make that call. Looked like it stayed in the hand on some angles and knocked out of the hand in others.

Difficult call. Onfield decision was key.

Great try saving tackle from Cam Redpath, but there is an inevitability about this, especially with the yellow card now.

Great win for Italy

So much blocking for that Irish try.

Scotland certainly made Ireland work for that win.
Not a great spectacle though.

Expected us to get a cuffing, much closer than that. Fair dos, Ireland deserved the win.

Gatland apparently offered his resignation but it was turned down.

Not going into detail about his injury, but George’s season is over.

Had a feeling that might be the case when they were taking him off. Two minutes from the end, that’s cruel.

Great try

Recording the match as I all sported out after 2 matches and La Primavera.
Other than the FA Cup, tomorrow is relatively sport light.

Did someone drug the French half time drinks? Their tackling has been terrible since they came back out.

Superb game, streets ahead of the other two today.

Well, if you'd offered English fans a third place finish behind Ireland and France, having beaten one of them and bloody nearly beaten the other I think a lot of us would have taken that...
And, good god at least we've got a team again!
We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

England's player of the tournament gives away the crucial penalty at the death.
That said, England made too many mistakes that resulted in French points.
Bit like the U20s game last night, a really good match.

Err . . . England only missed out a World Cup final by one point to the eventual winners in their last outing before the 6N! A couple of poor performances does not a poor team make . . .

All except England are a team in transition and nobody knew how they'd perform at the start of the 6N.
