    I assume India have been reminded there are spectators so they need to keep batting with decelerations to try and give them at least part of a 4th day. I don't think 400+ is really necessary on this wicket.

    I am usually an advocate of an early declaration but if we bat it out we will have 400 runs, also allows more attacking fields.

    Saying that I would have thrown the bat and had a few overs at us before tea.

    I'm sure the TV companies will have reminded the BCCI about the need to have 5 day pitches.

    I'm hopeful that the day/night test will do more for the seamers and may lead to a more even match. It also means I don't have to get up at 4am!

    Well, 50 for 3 was not a good start.

    Burns came out swinging, whilst Sibley was like a rabbit in headlights. Sending in Leach as a nightwatchmen failed spectacularly.

    I've tried with MMA but every time I've watched it it's just two guys rolling around on the floor for ages hugging each other.
    Also it appears to have become MAGA Fight club.

    Give me a decent boxing match any day over MMA.

    Tbh, i don't really like any kind of fighting sports, boxing, MMA etc.

    I like martial arts in films etc however.

    I know you can't judge until both teams have batted, but we might have picked the wrong attack.

    Certainly more interesting in a wicket like this. Get a lead of 70-100 and Root will bowl them all.

    I find it farcical tbh. tests shouldn't be over in 2 days. It is interesting in a way, but far from ideal.
