I make that about 7-8 seconds.

    Not enough.

Well done Hugh Carthy, learnt from the other day when he attacked too soon.
Frustrating for Carapz not to get any bonus seconds.

Roglic only loses 25". Carapaz takes red.
  • All that effort for very, very little.
    Stupid course design.
This yesterday and yesterday, today. Much better.

    Yay Hughbert!!!

Well that was fun I'm a ridiculously silly way.

Well controlled by Roglic in fairness.

I am not sure. You have no chance.

Still not a fan of the climb. No-one wants to attack as once you're in the red you're staying there.

How did he win that? Looks like me trying to turn 39-23 on a normal 4% grade usually. Always seems over geared but good enough today. 3rd on the GC fantastic.

How long is Kuss contracted for? Ineos will be all over him given his form this season.

47 minute time cut then. Could be a struggle for some despite the generosity.

If I were Carapaz, I'd be thinking, 'all that effort for THAT?'

    Sensational ride by Martin, mind
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

I notice that while he is pee'd off Roglic is warming down. Marginal gains.
Not to mention a TT gain.

I hope somebody offers him a bucket load of cash, but on the proviso he has to be team leader.
He really, really doesn't want to be a leader, but he's killing these GTs as it is.

Take a bow Hugh. What a ride.

Totally stupid course design again. No wonder the Vuelta is the ugly sister of the grand tours.

Roglic always looks like he’s just cruising, even when he’s struggling it doesn’t show on his face, find it quite strange. When I’m struggling up a 2% gradient everyone knows about it.
