    Have to give Bahrain credit for at least trying something. It goes to show what some of the support riders can do when they are given a job that isn't just "stay with your team leader as long as possible". Carapaz slightly opening up his lead again but it won't be enough if anyone attacks behind (big if based on previous stages!).
