    Boom. Wattage Cottage from Kristoff.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

    That was unexpected.

Oh well, after my criticism of Kristoff being given favourite by BS he rolls back the years with a superb sprint.

Alexander Kristoff - for a rider who doesn't win a lot he's featured in a lot of preview star ratings....

DQS did a poor job looking after Bennett on the run in.
  • Well that was a hot mess wasn't it?

    Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Weather ruined that one. Would have been nice to have seen what sprinters could have held on if the final climb and descent had been ridden hard.

When can we expect your analysis of the straightness of that sprint? ;)

    Yay! MY MAN!

Maybe he didn't win KBK but he's got another tour stage and the yellow jersey!

And some Nizzollo points for ptp I think.

Rough day for many, it's gonna be a long tough tour...

Rowe giving Astana a bit of stick and indulging in a bit of schadenfreude. From the TV pictures there were a few others sharing that feeling at the time too, they really don't seem very popular.

Anyone else finding it hard to spot riders with there having been so little racing this season, riders having changed teams at the end of last season, new team kits etc.?

Everyone finished. Sivakov thirteen minutes down with two others.

  • A battered Sivakov home, 13 minutes down in a group of 4.
John Degenkolb was the only DNF, which won't help the Flying Dwarf's chances.
