I agree the lineups have changed - it was only 5 or so years ago that I went and it was dance and rock/indie, although Dizzie Rascal was on big stages historically.

Basically it reflects what young people are listening to at the time - and the older you get, the more detached you are from that.

Aren't seatbelts or smoking a better analogy?

Not quite, because face masks are much better at stopping you from infecting someone else, rather than the other way around.

Careful what you wish for - we might end up with a lot of Cake Stoppers having to wear burqa style garments :)

People who don't give a $h1t about sliding standards and then end up moaning about it when it reaches their door.

Agree completely it should move on. But live music doesn’t have pop roots. A music festival is a celebration of live music.

    (a) Something requiring tweezers, Dettol and gauze; or
    (b) Justifiable marketing fatigue in relation to cyclocross or touring bikes given undetectable geometry changes and a new paint job.

Amid what seems to be a ton of hype Continental has apparently finally released it's much awaited cream colored sidewall tire. Things like that immediately trigger an adverse, sarcastic, reaction in me. I really do want to meet the people who are "pre-ordering" these. If only to ask if they were dropped on their head as a baby.

Like everything that's fashionable today, the same people buying them now will be saying they're sh-1t tomorrow and laughing at anyone who still uses them. See also flares, platform shoes, the wearing of jeans half way down your @rse etc etc.

Almost makes me want to buy a set, just to watch people go apeshít. 🤣
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Take the opportunity to buy the all black ones in bulk. Soon they will be retro.

I just wish I'd hung on to those yellow Michelins I had in 2000....
