    It had to happen some time, thought it had happened in Amstel Gold to be fair. Trentin looking good here, Belgians doing a classic Belgian performance at the worlds

    Wow wasn't expecting that. Then again MvdP doesn't race well tactically. Maybe this will be a learning experience. He went early and worked too hard in the break. I figured 32 km to go was early on a day like this

    Trentin clearly loves this kind of weather: his win at the Euro’s in Glasgow last year was in similarly appalling conditions.
