Is he sprinting sat down these days or has he just not been in a flat out sprint that I've seen?

Will he be going to the Tour do we think? A Plan B behind Bennett?

Has he learned that rear wheelspin can be reduced by not having all his weight over the front wheel?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I'd absolutely love to see it but I don't think there's room in the squad for him tbh. Although they are running lots of races with multiple sprinters I can't see that continuing into the GTs.

    Yes, a good read.Thanks.
Just great to see him win today. Really quite emotional.

A very nice interview with Jakobsen as well.

Great article and fantastic to see the win.

I actually put a bet on him to win last week in Belgium and also in yesterday’s stage. Wish I’d done it today🙄

  • 2 wins in 2 days? He seems quite good this Cavendish lad, I reckon he's got a bright career ahead of him.

If Cav makes it 4 in a row tomorrow I'll pop a fiver on him to win the TDF

Have you seen the profile for tomorrow? If he can win a mountain top finish at 1800m then I'd pop more than a fiver on him...

Probably the best win of the lot, vintage Cav from the back.
I did think at Scheldeprijs he looked to have been coasting rather than going full out attack, I suspect because that was what was agreed prior, and he didn't want to put Bennett's nose and his new teams out of joint.

Hopefully he can go from strength to strength, and get the right races to continue building - bit awkward with Bennett in the same team, as presumably he (Bennett) will have first pick on which races he goes too, and ordinarily they wouldn't be able to accommodate two out and out sprinters within the team.

They are saying the Giro is too soon, presumably he won't have a sniff at the Tour (Unless something stopped Bennett attending to defend green).
The Vuelta looks to have a healthy percentage of possible sprint finishes in the first 13 stages, so maybe that will end up being his target.
