    So what happens if they have to block the course to treat van Aert?

    Edit - that's not the best place to have a medical team with riders going past, could result in another crash.

    Well done to the crowd readjusting the barriers, and covering WvA with banners. So much better than the usual dash to take gory pictures.

    Hope it isn't too bad an injury

    That was my impression - looked to me like he hooked up on the advertising banner.

    The fact he's not moved away from where he is now suggests it's bad.
