Imagine being dim enough to send 4th on GC back for water bottles on a day with crosswinds.
Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.

So let me get this straight, EF were the ones to initially push on and then ended up the wrong side of the split?

    What numpties!

The highlights are going to be worth it this evening. Hopefully they'll be able to show how the split actually happened.

I'm hoping Gordon Bennett will be making an honorary appearance in the Lanterne Rouge thread this evening Mr Carpet Man?

How did they get the break/miss the split? Quintana normally misses the split so well done for that

So Movistar abandon Stone Face and go back to give the Lada a push.

  • amazingly perceptive commentary from DM there - he said the chasing group were burning themselves out by trying to close the gap too quickly. Sure enough a minute later, the gap starts going out again.
  • Pinot group going backwards after they failed to bridge to the front (got within about 10 sec).

Millar just coined the term "Movistar Moment" for mixed/misplaced priorities that result in ultimate failure.

No idea, ITV were on a break. According to Millar, EF started pushing followed by Doors and Floors, there was a split, but somehow EF all ended up on the wrong side of it.

Ineos all being on the right side of it must have been involved somehow.

I did the same as Bob and left the telebox.
Luckily I ignored Millar's nothing will happen on Ad Break tv and put Sporza onto record.

I should also have the telly on with Sporza. That'll learn me.
