Millar puts forward the name of Bettiol, but I have to say this is one of those rare occasions that I haven't a clue.
Surely, Alaphillipe will have them, should they manage to get rid of the likes of Sagan and Matthews?

    That's not a road, that's a path.

Kruijswijk in a spot of bother. Lost the wheel. Jumbo troops fall back.
Van Aert waves bye bye but Sagan is a limpet.

I'm watching this and thinking: these two teams are supposed to have serious contenders for the GC, yet I could never see Ineos putting in so much effort, with such slim chances of reward.

Yeah it is a big effort for what could be a sprint.. You get the sense that when Ineos finally decide to start riding it'll be at a time when most of these domestiques are long gone

Sagan getting bottles like he's not been swinging for the last half hour

I've had my customary mid stage doze. Is GvA in there? I'm hoping having a team mate up front has allowed him to keep his powder dry as much as anyone can on days like this.

Yep, Kwia would be a favourite for today on any other team. Ineos now chasing after EF took them all out!
