Looks like Rich might be right about Shane's need for some performance enhancement.
Seems to me like Dr. (tbc) Freeman had a rather high opinion of himself and forgot to bother with plebian things like record keeping and patient notes meaning that he's in a rather serious amount of trouble with the RCGP.
Though not actually with UKAD...
Again as a fan of pro cycling it rather irks me that no questions will be asked of the former sport or club where he learned these habits though.

Talk on Twitter that correspondence involving DCMS and a DM journalist have been withheld. These apparently discredit SS as a reliable witness and ‘could’ kill the whole Jiffy bag story.
Damian Collins has already backed out as he is no longer an MP and the DCMS is dissolved - timing ...2020/2021/2022 Metric Century Challenge Winner0 -
He seems to me someone who took on more work than he could handle and cut corners. Add in Sutton's behaviour to some staff and mental health issues, and I think he's most likely a decent guy who got himself into a bad place.ddraver said:

Well that's much more charitable Rich, yes.
Ma and Pa raver are in the business though and both were surprised about the lack of documentation. It's considered level 101. They basically assume he's going to be struck off...
They certainly wouldn't write me a prescription, let alone source me drugs off the record. Pa wouldn't even sign one of those French health certificate thingums for me.We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Throughout all of this there was one account from someone at Sky which I always thought gave the most credible picture - nothing illegal, something that could be frowned on, Sutton is an arsehole. Note the last line.

I notice that Collins says the committee carefully consider what evidence they will accept and publish. Given that they saw fit to publicly interview at middle-aged cat 3 amateur and bulked out their report with passages copied from the CIRC report, I'd like to know what they thought was unacceptable.carbonclem said:Talk on Twitter that correspondence involving DCMS and a DM journalist have been withheld. It's a punchy letter. I wonder how anonymous it really is to those who know given the interesting choices of spelling and grammar.RichN95. said:

Any reason why viagra wouldn’t have done the job? I mean for Sutton’s problems rather than the cycling cheating obvs.0

and why is it "interestingly" that it was Nicole Cookes personal coach Fabio Bartolucci who was picked up by BC?

The dysfunction stuff is just speculation. But it's not an unusual for a man in his 50s to use testosterone gel.ddraver said:One of Pa raver's concerns is exactly that, The treatment for erectile dysfunction is Viagra, see also, the treatment of allergies is not Kenalog...
Many years ago they may have been but not now...
As for the kenalog. It's not what you'd give a regular person. But ask Pa Raver if he was promised £1m to get a patient through summer with no allergy incidents, what would he prescribe? Still Piritin and come back two weeks?Twitter: @RichN950 -
Hi Moderators.
I seem to be having problems replying to other peoples quotes - with quotes included. And just on this thread. I don't know why. I can post without the moderation delay if I don't quote like this, even if I say really controversial things.
Let's try:
Helmets should be compulsory
Cyclocross is just 'It's a knockout' on bikes
Contador shouldn't have waited
Froome wouldn't have won the 2012 Tour
Carlton Kirby is better than Rob Hatch
Shane Sutton can't get a boner
(I believe at least three of these)
Cheers

I would guess because he was arrested during the 2001 Giro sting operation in San Remo that left the likes of Pantani eating ice cream the following day, instead of climbing Alps.........released with no charge mind.......

I think it might have been the use of a drug name beginning with 'V' and ending in 'iagra'
Anyway I was trying to respond to your post. I was trying to say that we don't exactly know what Sutton's issue was (or if indeed it existed), and calling ED is just shorthand. So we can't really judge whether he was prescribed the right medicine.Twitter: @RichN950 -

Which is Sutton prepared to admit to? He seems like he'd rather confess to being the Zodiac Killer than to not getting his pecker up.ddraver said:So basically, tomorrow were going to find out if...
a) Team Sky is the new biggest fraud in Sports History
Or
b) Shane Sutton is an old man

I think the erectile dysfunction part is heresay. More a middle aged man looking for rejuvication, whatever that means.ddraver said:One of Pa raver's concerns is exactly that, The treatment for erectile dysfunction is Viagra, see also, the treatment of allergies is not Kenalog...

I don't think anyone official has said it was for erectile dysfunction. More just standard middle aged issues. And kenalog is not what a normal person would treat allergies with, but if it may well be if you have a multi-million pound sports team and need certainties.ddraver said:One of Pa raver's concerns is exactly that, The treatment for erectile dysfunction is Viagra, see also, the treatment of allergies is not Kenalog...
