    Not long now.

Flandrians revving up with an hour long documentary on Boonen’s glory years WHICH I CANT WATCH AS IT IS GEO RESTRICTED.

My (not so) hot tip is Degenkolb should be consideres a 4* favourite for the big ones and Sep will still do his Sep/Hoste thing.

Wouldn’t it have been nice to see the reigning tour winner go and give all 4 monuments a proper crack? Alas.

    Vrt nu.
  • Good ride in Valencia by Sylvain Dillier. He's not on a Factor.

He's not on a Factor bike. He's on an Eddy M this year.

I have to say that was an unnecessary post on my part :)

Careful...It's stuff like this that makes Rick really confused.

    Yes

Dillier rides for Ag2R. Ag2R were riding Factor bikes for the 2018 season. For the 2019 season they are under contractual obligation to ride Eddy Merckx bikes .

Jimmy who is a cuckoo wrote that Silvan Dillier could be a factor in the Northern Classics.

Utilising years of writing witty and intellectually stimulating ripostes to internet forum threads I simply changed, in a 'play on words' type approach 'Dillier could be a factor' to 'Dillier is not on a Factor'

as for this season Dillier, who rides for Ag2R , will not be on a Factor

I then went through a self congratulatory process acknowledging my own greatness that involved some light flagellation followed by half a pack of custard creams and a sugar coma

Rick...you needs to get up to speed on the 2019 Pro gear thread.

It's going to be a long spring if you have to get you up to speed on all these topics. You can't spend all your time watchind Boonen re-runs.

So who’s gonna feature in the finales who hasn’t been featuring previously?

Else I’m pretty up to speed I think.

You're thinking of Van Der Poel Rick. WHo will feature I am sure, alongside Wout van Aert.

    B**x*t concerns?

Having to move back to Belgium will at least allow you to watch Geo unrestricted box sets of Boonen documentaries.

Not long till we get started now ....

You say that, but if I remember correctly, we get an 'opening weekend' in Belgium(?) and then it all shifts south to the Mediterranean area for a couple of weeks, before moving back North and starting up again...

Or have I remembered it wrong?

It's been two weeks since my training weekend in Brugge, so I can now exclusively reveal the Team Rich line up for the Classics. (Allowing for 'injuries' along the way)

  • Rick - make your way to the elm tree for your supply of Belgian beers in Cambridge.

    Sadly no TV though.

For sleep - get the screamer out your bedroom. Game changer.
