What? For climbing off with better headgear?

Aaah I'm on a (very delayed and rerouted) train with no WiFi... Sounds like a cracker. Do we reckon Kruijswijk is just stage hunting or seriously wants to hold it to Paris?

Some dude is on the viaduct between Stockport and Manchester, there's loads of police. Very exciting but not helping my journey.

Ag2r are the first to blink.

I thought that, but I think the plan is to isolate Froome and Thomas.

That's a lovely viaduct, though. Been over it many times on the way to Whaley Bridge...

they got no bl00dy riders why bother.

if they can accelerate over the cdf and drop a few sky guys thumbs up..if they just ride tempo and drag them up thumbs down.

Then just add it to list of weird tactics today that I am struggling to understand.

They're channelling Super Mario this year

Super Mario had 57 Grand Tour stage wins but only ever finished 6 of the 26 GTs he rode in. He was well known for dropping out before the hard mountain stages preferring to head out to the beach instead.

If Quintana was feeling good then he could try to bridge to Valverde and Amador. Can't imagine he has the legs for that though.

This isolating Froome strategy may need rethinking, lads. There are 15 or so in the favourites group and five of them are Sky.
