I was watching a bit behind, so couldn't comment.
    A cracking little stage that.
Loads of action over the last 30kms and it could be that the overall was won today.
Lulu has 38 seconds, the ITT tomorrow and very strong team.
What is left is not the hardest set of finishing stages to overcome.

  • Good racing. Hivert benefits from Sanchez need for time but a deserved WT win. Always think of riders like that and how often they might expect a stage at this level.

It's not often you see someone play Sanchez like a fiddle, but Hivert did that to perfection today. I appreciate Sanchez was riding for the GC, before anyone points this out.

sanchez also never has a sprint at the end. just a strong rider for these kinds of stages. Hivert played that very well.
  • Demarre never made any progress on the green jersey but he looks more like that type of rider now

LLS is going for GC so was always going to get done over the stage.. Well ridden by Hivert and he looked well pleased with the stage win.

Hoping it will still be a tight race after the TT today

I reckon Sanchez has a good chance of keeping that jersey now. or at least regaining it before the end. How old is he now? he seems to have been around for ever

Glad everyone's enjoying PN with LLS in yellow whilst they whine about Wiggins.

    Bizarre.
