Result! Only three stage wins, and he'll take the jersey.

I was thinking over the past week, the French must like making human clocks in fields.

    Is it a national pastime?

    Are you having a wind-up?

Real question is though, have they moved the coffee machine to allow him easier access via wheelchair, or is it always that low down so he can reach?

So, apparently Sky are killing the race by allowing the break to ride slowly away, thus stopping riders such as Barguil from attacking on the early climbs and making the bridge.
Not that Sunweb, Lotto J or any of the other teams could actually get on the front and chase or anything.

I cycled past this one the other month. I don't think the pocket knife would stay there for long if it was on a roundabout back home.
Kudos for anyone who knows where it is and why?

Fair play to Kittel, he'll deserve that jersey in Paris. He could easily have sat back and let Matthews spend energy in the break for 20 points knowing he could take it easy in the auto bus all day and just pull the points back in the next sprint stage. He looks really comfortable too, has certainly improved his climbing and in previous years I'd have been unsure if he'd actually get to Paris to take green.

ITV commentary been good thus far - Pippa York, Cav, Millar, Boulting. Though ITV ads are really crap... still better than the Kirby chuckle.

    Correct.

Great place. We drove to Bourg d' Oisans with the bikes and cycled back over the Croix de Fer.
Next day we cycled back over the north side of the Glandon (very steep for the last 2 or 3 km).
Also did the col du Telegraphe and Galibier from St Jean de Maurienne.
    Lacets de Montvernier was impressive.
And Col du Mollard was nice once you get past the tree line and into the alpine scenery.

I suffered with the heat though. Something you don't appreciate watching it on tv.

I'm looking forward to watching stage 17

Pippa was once Robert Millar. Officially came out as transgender last week.
