The great thing about Dutch is that even a complete non-speaker's guess of "he went for a crap in the countryside" is bound to be an adequate translation.

He wants a quiet/calm poo, although I left an e of the end because poep is de poep not het meaning the adjective rustig has an e on the end. Landelijk or rusitek is rustic.

    God I'm bored!
    Me too.

I did say "adequate" not "accurate" translation - daarvoor hebben we google

It was very logical! Dutch is equal measures easy and hard.

possible skid fest if it rains

Would it be normal for in such circumstances to switch to a new wheelset with rain tyres fitted?

    ...or maybe neutralise the stage.

    1. That's one afternoon none of us will ever get back.

    2. Sagan can drop back in tomorrow without a problem.

I think we'll get away without one at the left turn at 2km to go, so probably one crash at the roundabout with 1km to go.

That and speclialist wet and dry tyres don't really exist in road cycling. Some tyres (e.g., Conti 4Seasons) claim to be better in poor conditions but that's more from a puncture resistance perspective.

Possibly the riders/mechanics might drop the tyre pressures slightly to give a better contact patch.

Well Dimension Data have a good train, just a shame they don't have Cav anymore.

    Kit Kat.

What was EBH trying to do? Go from 700m? If Cav had been there that would have been an excellent lead out.

Demare looked like he went for a suicidal gap and got through. Think even he was surprised.
