    The marketing fluff accompanying the skinsuits suggests that they're only effective at high speeds (short TTs) and may produce more drag at lower speeds.

    It's all a bit meh though. The rules were clearly meant to stop people sticking aero lumps and bumps on or under a skinsuit (I think some have got around that by using a camelback water holder), rather than innovating in the fit and materials of the suit itself.
