EBH puts in a decent time off camera sounds like 8 secs down.

    Edit: not finished yet.

Have to think Kristoff probably cycled an extra 200m with that shocking style.

I was wondering what the bike had done to upset him - he was wrenching it all over the place.

That looked really bad - slid into the barriers with the feet of the barriers ramming straight into his chest/abdomen.

Nobbers pulling on Valverde's limbs, literally dragging him of the road while he's laying there badly injured.
Apparently clearing the road is more important than proper medical care

For someone supposedly riding for someone else, that was crazy speed into that corner.
Quintana is screwed on day one.

Fell asleep on page 5, woke to see Señor Hairplugs crash, missed the French exchange student and G smashing it, but I get the impression everyone missed G smash it. As with Kiry, fitting for a domestique to wear the yellow jumper.

Lick your lips Froome; now's the chance to mentally crush him. You and 4 teammates on a faster time.

Porte looked like survival was very much the aim of today. Not necessarily a bad one, either.

Sky having so many riders up the ranking sends a message, but Porte himself can rationalise whatever happens with Froome as Porte having taken it conservatively rather than Froome being any better.
