I'm not doubting he's going to win but you don't think 300m is close?

    No.

*If* Sagan had stayed upright then I think it would've been close. But, Sagan was forced into taking a risk by the ride that Gilbert has put in. And that was that.

    Superb ride.

Is it close if you can carry your bike above your head over the finish?

Anyone else thinking that if Sagan and GvA hadn't crashed then this would have been really close?
Its going to be close even with that crash!

If Sagan had stayed upright, who knows!

It's not close, but could have been a bit closer. Still would have been 2 v 1 with 1 minute over 10km. Advantage Gilbert.

Well that was just bloody amazing.

    Perfect race.

I timed my hangover recovery turbo to perfection. After drinking red wine until 1 in the morning I rolled in 15 seconds after Phil trotted over the line. I may have to go and have a little lie down now.

Ha! So many things to check out when I watch highlights later - svm/Rowe crash, Sagan/gva crash, terpstra leading out gva with his teammate up the road...

The race was already won and he wanted the podium.

Decisive move from over 90km out, winner goes solo from over 50km. I didn't expect that. The racing so far this year has been ridiculously entertaining. Roll on Roubaix!

Not sure he's really into concrete. He ate quite a lot of it in Roubaix that time.

I like him too btw :-)
