Way behind the slowest schedule, I'd say.
Still nearly 3 hours of the race left and there's a headwind.

Some are some aren't - must be down to riders' choice (or so we would hope)

I'm not sure what this is telling me.

It is showing that in recent years, the better finishers rode paris-nice rather than the Italian equivalent.

That's only based on run of last 2. I'd say the message is that you have to ride one of them, and not surprisingly would likely have won a stage.

I can tell the season has started - I've grown weary of the Eurosport adverts. Anyone for a crocodile garage?

What, you're going to miss the pointless attacks on the Cipressa and just after?

To be fair, I would love it if a longer attack stuck (I know it won't).

I never get the Tifosi with their flares... Just what you need to be inhaling when cycling up a hill after 250km.

Commnetary free UCI channel on the player

And to the UCI - if you want to stop d!ckheads letting off flares and filling riders lungs with smoke after 240km riding then stop the cameramen taking lingering shots of the idiots standing waving them at the helicopter
