No doubt plenty of people happy to give it a try. The hard bits will be a) getting past his security and b) getting past his security with whatever sort of weapon is required to do the job.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

    Or an inside job.

Undoubtedly they are. But whoever does it is far more likely to be the 'least likely' candidate, IMO, as opposed to the guy from the Milk Tray ads...

No incentive for his security team though especially as it is highly likely to end in death and very unlikely to end in riches from being a dictator.

That's all fine and mighty but you ever tried getting an MOT on a T72?

Especially just before the summer when everyone else is trying?

Who knows. If they can pocket a big bounty and get the hell out, it's a possibility.

    It is ludicrous.

Am surprised its public knowledge, given the fate of some of his opponents abroad.

On the plus side they can easily and quickly be turned into a convertible, just as long as you have a spare NLAW to hand.

I see that a Russian businessman has taken out what amounts to a million dollar contract hit on dear Vlad.

    Only a million? That's a bit tight.
    What are you putting up?
As much as you I guess, might be a bit risky. If it was an order of magnitude or so higher then I reckon there'd be some serious interest.
    Everyone's generous with someone else's money :)
Good payback though - for example if you were a major shareholder in say Sberbank just now, you could go a lot higher than $1m and potentially get a great return.
I don't think it's a bounty of any size that's going to tip someone over from not killing Putin to killing him.

They will have to be a long distance marksman.
Otherwise how are they hit him at the other end of that table?

Not a big target either is he.
