    Thanks.
Went to see if a sunset would develop, but the cloud was too thick. There was quite a nice atmosphere with the stormy clouds, so not disappointed.

Opposite here: no cloud, no colour/shapes to work with, so didn't bother.

Absolute washout here tomorrow, so I was forced into it.

Morning looks grim, grim, grim, but sunny intervals and showers later... would be a good time to be on Dartmoor, but I'll have to make do with Topsham after work.

No more. The Bridge (my local), The Exeter Inn, The Globe, The Lighter, The Lord Nelson (but only if you eat too).

The Salutation is a posh restaurant/hotel. The London & South Western is now the Co-op, the Steam Packet is Route 2 Cafe & bike shop (absolutely ace). The King's Head closed in the 80s (after trading without a licence for months).

Still not bad for a small place.

It's been pink for ever, and is known as "the pink pub". Still the only one the Queen has ever been in, I think. Well, certainly the first.

Oh yes, I remember that. And do, every time I pass it.

I was working during the sunny/showery spell (dramatically black clouds), then as soon as I was free, it just turned grey, wet and miserable. Ho hum.

That sounds just typical. The weekend looks a mixed bag.

I woke up today with a bit of clarity after the fog of a cold and realised it was a joke. Not too shabby either.

That looks like a great day out. Some lovely scenery and much better weather than out west.

This was my best. Grey, but didn't get swept out to sea, which was a plus.

Yes, got lucky. It started out pure blue, then got the fluffy clouds and by the end it had clouded over quite a bit and I could see rain showers on the lowland. Managed to get away with just a few spots though and still holding off.

Caught a bit of sun and mud on my way to work this morning... was wet & windy by the time I finished... (phone photo)

This was 2 seconds after the first shot. Didn't get wet. Then it tipped it down (proper wet rain) and got soaked.

Nice time of year if the sun comes out: vivid greens and naked trees.

Actually amazed that the forum software doesn't censor 'naked' 😂
