Access to your 'portfolio pics' would be handy.

Were you in Stockholm in the old town and Barcelona? Have we had this conversation before?

For me the one's that stand out are:

    1. Page 1. 8th picture (counting from left to right) of the walkway.
    2. This. The distinction of the stones and lack of shadows, it's clarity.

    3.Planes queueing.
    4. This:

    5. City Skyline - from Waterloo Bridge (Colour)

...but don't go on my suggestions.

I was in Stockholm (all over), last year, but haven't been to Barcelona in over a decade. Possibly had this conversation before, yes. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. Planes queueing is one of my favourites, but I need to check the quality when printed.

    This is not Buck Rodgers.
    Stairway.
Flowers if cropped to remove the distracting highlight.

Noteable - Taylor Pinney for the backdrop and Fixie Commuter if you want one with action/movement.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

What happened to "This Its Not Buck Rodgers"? Was a toss up between that and "Away From The Crowds". You never chose any of my picks. Wise man.

    The thing with this one...

    36703768824_3c838f8775_z.jpg

...is that it really is an awkward pose. From a cyclists perspective, the subject may look like he's bearing the pressure of effort. From the non cyclists POV, it looks awkward; strained and perhaps it even seems as though he is shying away from the guy taking a pic of him.
    It's also too dark.

Dunno if that two penneth is worth anything.

PB, "Away from the Crowds" I just think is a more appropriate title for displaying.

Pinno. The cycling one is interesting... on my phone, it's way too dark. On a monitor it's just about bob on. By the way (s)he is Jess Evans, notable hill climber, and the hand is her husband's (Dan Evans - current National Hill Climb champion).

I take the points. They're fair, but I like how the hand is taking a very similar photo to the one it appears in.

I also wanted a pseudo theme based on individuals.

The rebellious pigeon, the woman somehow alone at Kings Cross on a weekend afternoon and the cyclist, surrounded but ultimately alone in her battle against the clock.

I'm always surprised at how bright the moon registers in a photograph. Just shows how good the human eye is at dealing with high contrast.

It takes a good camera to get the moon that big in a shot that doesn't end up like a small dot.

It's got nothing to do with the camera! (but it has everything to do with optics.....)

I was thinking of the exposure, but yes, the moon is always smaller than you think it is. Another trick your mind plays.
