Ignoring my excellent play on words....'cos you gotta keep changing to keep up, presumably.
  • The Etix boys confirm their TTT form.
That was the Panzerwagon of old.
Good defense from Kiri, but there was only one rider in it.

Is Kiry under orders not to try for himself the rest of the year? Maybe has would have contested Eneco, if he hadn't missed his start time.

Nah, he's been off-form all season. Particularly - but not exclusively - on the TT front

    Far too subtle for me.

Anyone know what time the decision is announced for 2019 Championships - I think it is today sometime.

Yorkshire would have had more spectators per metre than were on the entire 40km in Doha

It would be too cold at this time of year.

Bearing in mind that the next two years are Bergen and Innsbruck I am pretty sure that Yorkshire would be (just a bit) warmer - maybe not quite so warm as Doha though. And would probably be shifted forward to end of September as per normal (I think Doha is as late as it ever gets)

Bergen could be nippy and rainy at that time of year.

17-24th September in Bergen. 10-12 deg C average with about 75% chance of rain. It will be a very different World Champs

Yorkshire has found itself quite a cycling niche.

Leeds gets it, despite Gary verity's attempts to claim otherwise.

Don't expect it to be a small loop:
However, the objective is to visit every part of Yorkshire, north, east, west and south

And FWIW, I have it on good authority East Yorkshire doesn't really exist.

It's just weird inbred people from the Hull and, to quote "those weirdos who want to live by the sea".

    Apparently.

I'd want a Scottish worlds, actually. I reckon you'd have a very pretty and challenging course or four to choose from.

Does this mean we've got three years of people saying they should send the road race up Rosedale Chimney to properly sort them out?
