The forks on that Wilier ruin the entire bike.

    Grim.

Carbon forks. A plain glossy black would have been better.

    There's an MTB already on the market that's 3d printed - https://robotbike.co/?v=79cba1185463

Same concept, printed lugs and carbon tubes. My brother said it's the best riding mountain bike he's ever ridden.

Interesting. I posted it with the question mark because I thought that maybe there would be more of it on 2017. Who knows?
The price of some of the custom made stuff is eye watering but there doesn't seem to be a shortage of cash around.

Have you seen an ad for a second hand Sarto Seta frameset anywhere? :D

the bike looks good overall just dont like the whole setup of the bars, hoods etc..
  • Interesting - first bike I've seen which has front disc on that side, opposite to the back. Must be quite a channel on the seat tube for the rear tyre too, or is it split?

    What's the chainset??

  • I like the rear end of that Factor but not the front

edit: just found out it's a 4 year old concept bike so I hate all of it now!

    Oh yeah :(

It popped up in my feed today, so I thought it was pretty recent, with Factor being a relatively new brand too.

    SORRY. Please forgive me. :cry::cry::cry:

Car manufacturers do come up with some sh!te bikes usually. I'm sure a middle aged James Bond wannabe will snap it up though.

I really like One by, rides lovely on my Slate, I'm considering putting it on a TT bike to ride a Flat 10 near me next year.

He has a bike with a 1x10 or 1x11 drivetrain on his Cannondale Slate, and he is considering installing something similar on his time trial bike, presumably for the small aero and weight benefit.

Which doesn't sound unreasonable cos I'd have assumed the small ring wasn't too much use on a lot of TT courses. Wouldn't need that ludicrous cassette though!

    Thanks Bob.

I thought 'Slate' was a CX/gravel bike and therefore it made no sense, so I Googled it.

re that new Cervelo... I really hope this isn't the future. but it is, isn't it?
  • Man alive that Cervelo is fugly. Fallen out of the ugly tree getting hit repeatedly by ugly sticks as it fell.

Proof positive that triathletes have no taste whatsoever*

Why did they use disc brakes on it? All the "aero" manufacturers have been on about hiding callipers in the forks, or under the stays out of the wind for years, and yet for this thing they've whacked on some tacky disc brake bits hanging out in the breeze that look like parts bin specials from Aldi?

    Very odd.

In fairness, all the crap bolted on to that bike isn't doing it any favours. If you took away the storage boxes from behind the stem/bottom bracket and the rear-mounted bottle cage, it might start to look somewhat acceptable.

is that a built in Camel back in a petrol tank style I see on the top tube?

Is that so you can fill it with an inflammable substance, place a strip of cloth in it and light the thing.
