Is there a website that shows the split times, like the TdF race centre live site?

Van Dijk into some bushes - going uphill!

and has almost caught up with the rider ahead by the first checkpoint = good recovery
  • An American called Armstrong goes 5 seconds ahead at the split :)

Horrible looking day and the roads look super slippy
Trek,,,, too cool for school ,, apparently
  • Would be great if we had access to info like tyre model; tyre width, pressure; approx rider/bike weight for these awful wet conditions (to then compare to what they might use in the dry).

Van Dijk going well considering that fall on the ascent, Armstrong new leader at the summit by 5secs.

The womens course isnt quite as hilly as i had expected it to be, im not sure if taking Pooley was the right call after all.

Poor ride from Pooley - dare say there are a few wry smiles from some other british female cyclists....

Zakarin would be allowed to ride, but by the time CAS reached their decision it was too late for him. Most Russians that were waiting on appeals were already in Rio, but some hadn't bothered getting on the plane. That's my understanding.

My question is, at what point did Zabelinskaya actually server her 18th month ban? Given it was going to CAS earlier this year.

    Backdated bans are bullshit.

I thought he was flying to Rio but got off-loaded from the plane...

Apparently Zabelinskaya tested positive in March 2014 and accepted a ban that ended in Sept 2015. This was agreed in March 2016.

She properly served the 18 month ban. Return in March this year.
