Bike got built. Bikes didn't get ridden. Beer is next on the list though, so all in all I'm happy.

Done jobs and prep for Wales. Now finishing watching the footy before a bit more Dads taxi work. I'm desperately trying to get out of seeing Stropteen torturing a musical instrument this evening but its falling on deaf ears!

    Off to Sheepsville tomorrow afternoon.

Yesterday's daddy daycare and wedding stuff means I missed the delivery of my new bike :( but proud of the kids who didn't laugh when their great grandads trousers fell down when he was giving them some cash!

Today is talking the eldest to his first competitive game - back to my old hood

Wife is back at some point

    Bonjour D1cks

Was Great Grandads wardrobe malfunction really an accident?

Had quite a boozy night, suffering a bit now but i doubt I'm the worst.

Off out to a house warming later, it'll be full of old people........including me!

In the mean time chickens to feed and visitors to care for.

Maybe the giving of money and the trousers dropping were connected? Reminds me of that old Macc Lads song 'Uncle Nobby' :)

    Morning ageing pervs,

We have the in laws descending on us this afternoon for lunch and social - hope they go quickly as then I can get in the car and head for Wales!

Not long back from Bike Park Wales - the rain was a bit crap and feeble by Welsh standards until just after 4pm when it pissed down but we were knackered by then anyway.

They seem to be replacing the Dragon run with a small mountain range masquerading as table tops and gap jumps - big cojones needed on the next trip :)

First day back in full time employment after a month of holiday and jury service. Bit of a shock but delegating to minions is so much easier when you're in the office :)

    Headed home for some wine.

    Morning aris' bandits,
Bit blowy round here, but nothing compared to some. Busy morning was decidedly unpleasant, poxy customers disturbing my peace and quiet. Bit of entertainment when the sandwich wagon turned up and he couldn't get the back open, I thought there was going to be a riot. I say riot, I mean sulk. Crow bars were wielded but it wouldn't open, great fun watching the hungry on the CCTV.
Today being Wednesday I will be going to the pub and drinking lots of lovely lovely beer. I can drink beer because I'm not stupid enough to enter a running race. Haven't done that since I was at school. honestly, I mean giving up booze to go running. What a ridiculous idea. Hoping that helps TLW with the feeling sorry for himself.

    Agree.......

The no drinking goes absolutely out of the window tomorrow night when my pal turns up from the states, Friday booked off for further drinking.

Leaves Saturday for recovery and prep for Sunday's double marathon!

Take out the second half of the last line and that makes total sense. See, much better.

I once did a half marathon yonks ago, that was bad enough. You need to compensate for your transgressions with another BPW visit.

Early night tonight as we are up at 3am tomorrow to take Stropteen to Gatwick for her school history trip to Berlin. I've advised her that it's traditional to compliment pre WW2 German architecture by saying 'Look, there's one that our boys missed.' Otherwise its another day on the corporate hamster wheel with an earlier than normal finish.
