CBA. Finishing at lunch today which hopefully means an afternoon of bikes. Wish today was Friday though, it's far superior to Thursday.

    11 days until freedom.

Tired - don't enjoy getting up at 3.15am to take ungrateful child to Gatwick for a stupidly early Sleazyjet flight. Went back to be for a couple of hours after getting home, now on train needing caffeine and wondering whether I will make it out for a pint tonight.

    Morning cruddettes,

How's your bits for zits this fine if slightly blowy morning?

Bit more man cave tidying today and also keeping an eye on the 25 litres of cider that is brewing, so much hope that it's going to taste great but will more than likely give us a lifetime supply of cider vinegar!

Onwards to getting covered in dust.

    Morning muckspreaders,
Mild Thursday morning hangover is in evidence as expected, with officer mule not around it's these little clues that help me work out what day it is. Hoping for a quiet one but that's looking less likely as a couple of things have gone tits up already. Might have to go out for lunch to escape this place for a while.
    Onwards, to mediocrity.

    Morning POETS,
A touch chilly down here, anyone would think winter is approaching. Busy start to the day is just what I didn't want, only had two cups of tea but they were improved significantly as one of the new guys brought in some home made rock cakes. They were very good. Later will be a trip to the cafe for fried dead pig and later still will be the pub with the Mrs.
You shouldn't have given up the booze for those few days TLW, you sobered up enough to feel the pain.
Old car racing in Angouleme this weekend BG? Is that near you? Mate of mine is cycling somewhere down that way and saw a 1920's Bentley towing a 1970s Le Mans Porsche on a trailer. That's a hell of a pair of toys.

Went to visit a friend in hospital last night who was the victim of a hit and run while cycling. Pretty horrid stuff. Then on the phone to a friend working in the US who is suicidal. Today can therefore, hopefully, only get better.

Work meh, on call meh, major CBA. Wish I wasn't working tomorrow.

About an hour south of us, we are planning on going but it all depends on how much boozes disappears on Saturday night.

    Morning twonks,

Pleasant day here so the bottom feeder has decided the chickens need more nesting boxes, to that end i will be up to my ears in power tools trying not to slip,in her direction as she has decided that she will 'help' doubt I'll still be married tonight! Ps it's only the wedding anniversary today. And it's the commemoration of the Battle of Britain, coincidence? I think not!

Less tired today and it was my first time back on the communter bike in a month so I was bloody slow but it felt good anyway in a dirty sort of roadie way. Wine and take away on the cards tonight as it's been a long day at work and I deserve a treat!

Think that's the main thing that stopped us all becoming world class athletes................booze!

    Morning rimjob receivers,

Quite day here as off out for foods and boozes at a chums house, could do without it really as I've a trailer load of apples and pears to turn into more cider/vinegar.

Good lie in, coffee etc. Strifey has naffed off to Bluewater for a shopping blitz so after doing a few jobs it's me and the hound watching some F1 and keeping tabs on the footy for now. The peace will be shattered later when we pick Stropteen up from Gatwick.

    Evening slackers,

Good lie in today as Stropteen has properly adopted teenage sleeping hours. Jobs, footy, coffee and lazing have all featured. Unfortunately it's Monday tomorrow and my first 5 day week since the first half of August !

    Evening monkey spankers,
Quiet day here after a hectic one yesterday, it's persisting down out which gave me a good reason to maintain my level of laziness.

Well that's your own sodding fault for doing something so bloody stupid. Honestly, at what point does running seem like a good idea? My housemate used to bitch about how her feet hurt after she ran ultras, I had no sympathy, eventually you have to learn that your actions have consequences...

    Morning bumders

Today will involve work meh, then possibly/hopefully visiting friend in hospital.

Angry bird may be part owl because thems are wise words indeed. BG's would make a lot of sense too. I would add that as well as booze stopping us being world class athletes our general attitude of "meh" may not have helped.
Not a lot going on here, work is dull and customers are daft. Not much changes in that respect. There was no milk just now so I have not been made tea, thankfully my coffee machine had warmed sufficiently. That's today's drama done then.
Is TLW really working or is he lying on the couch groaning?

No. Comments like that don't belong here. Unless it relates to a hooker, a ditch and possibly a lime.

    Evening Tards,

Woke up at stupid o'clock, pedalled in and got stuck in meeting hell most of the day. Just polished off some of Strifeys red wine which makes things a bit better. Car MOT tomorrow so working from home and a bit of a lie in :)

    Tuesday

WFH again - so chilled start

Later I might go and try the new bike to avoid the pub - or stuff it and go three days in a row

    Morning wrinkled retainers,
Quite nice and sunny out, but I had a shoot night's kip so thought I'd drive in. That was a mistake, fookin' poxy car wouldn't start then the jump pack failed so I tried and failed to jump it off the boy's car. Gave up and drove in with him in the Mini.
This place has changed. Officer Mule is missing, presumed in a ditch. TLW is discussing not going to a pub for a third night on the trot. What 's going to happen next? Will Stevo join the Labour party? Oh no, that's already happened. Maybe bg will get some sense?

    Doubtful!

    Afternoon terds,

Last of the apples on their way to being converted to cider, got just shy of 60 litres on the go! Managed to sort about 25 litres of pear juice, will see how it goes, chances of being well tlw'd by xmas are reasonably high, the old tlw not this new age one!

Anyhoo I'm off to purchase another fermenting vessel.

    Toodles.

...so you don't know what happened to his Mrs when he was out for a run then? No lime though - turnip.
