Morning monkey spankers,
Feeling decidedly weary today, no particular reason for it which is annoying. Managed to wobble in to work again and the weather was almost pleasant. Hoping it will be a quiet day in here today and I won't have to tell any customers where to go. More tea is needed, I have bourbons ready to go.

Bit moist here this morning which has saved us going out watering. In other news the tomato, melon and cucumber harvest is keeping the kitchen slave busy!
Bank holiday here so still no tyres for the motor luckily the car is not needed.

Just surfacing and feeding our faces in the US of A. Off out into Atlanta later where we'll get sugared up at the Coke Museum, bit of pool time later then out with the in-laws for a mahoosive steak and some beer 8)

I do believe it's Wednesday but where's that slacker TKM to confirm this. Now that he's a public servant does he think he can let standards slip? Or is he going to complain that this is too much admin on top of all the stuff he has to do for work?
Not much going on here thankfully, lots of customers are on holiday so I can work at a pace more suited to my general levels of apathy. Today being Wednesday I will of course be going to the pub to prepare for the traditional Thursday mild hangover.

Due to no front tyres on the car I'm going to have to pedal to the shops, if anyone knows how to ride a bike could they let me know please.

Sun has got his hat on here so outdoors based graft will commence if i survive the shopping trip!

I certainly won't be forgetting the pain in the gooch area. Mustn't leave it too long between rides next time. I do have one minor embarrassing confession, on the way back from the shops i actually went 'offroad'. I promise not to disgrace myself like this again!

Morning Losers!

I wasn't slacking yesterday, I was enjoying a nice lie in as I stayed at my dog-walking friends house and went to Bury's station for a tour.

Sad news is that the mortuary tour that was planned today has been cancelled as someone in my class' relative died and will probably be in the very morgue we planned to see. Unfair if you ask me, but there we go.

Just been out for a run as we have a fitness test coming up. I did ok actually, I've surprised myself! Definitely need to keep it up though as I feel even more worried about the test now, probably because everyone in my class is surprisingly slim and healthy.

All good over here. The lad got his A level results and did very well so has got into his chosen university. He's got a year on the lash and travelling before that though. I've got my traditional Thursday morning hangover as expected, slightly different night last night as we did a pub crawl by boat. Not very successfully as the engine conked out so I had to row for a bit and we only went to one pub.
Anyway, onwards and upwards...

It's finally Friday! I've had a good week in Rochdale, I never thought I'd say that! Makes me realise how hard the job is going to be. My years of dossing around doing nothing all day are going to be long behind me when I start the job properly!

I've organised a viewing for another house as the one I'm applying for is taking far too long. I have to hand the keys in on Bank Holiday Monday, so I'm literally against the clock to find somewhere now.

Well it's still Friday here. We went to Universal Studios, got a bit of pool time and been out try and eat healthy for a change, bit tricky over here :shock: More theme park based entertainment on Saturday!

Things are moving forward with my house hunt, organised a viewing for a property in the morning and then the place I've applied for said 'nothing's happened as you haven't paid' :evil: I can't pay if you don't tell me! I have now paid, and hoping to have keys before Friday.

Today, I'm sorting through some old VHS's I have making a note of them and seeing which of them I need to 'acquire'. Then I can reuse the boxes they're in. After that, I'm off to Bury to see the good old shakers probably lose to some lesser team.

Back to work after a nice weekend off. I'm beginning to realise the enormity of the task of me moving house though, and I'm not looking forward to it. I have a feeling I actually can't do it, but I don't really have a choice.

I also have a lot of work to do for work, and don't want to fall behind that, so I need to get ahead, giving me even more work to do... it's quite stressful!

I thought I'd posted on Saturday, clearly not. I guess incompetence struck again. Good weekend was had, didn't do lots of jobs but did go out drinking a few times which is good. Now stuck in a grey and moist Monday morning in the sh!thole that is Hanworth. Still suffering post holiday blues. When do you get to have a go at tasering someone officer Mule?

One more day of touristy stuff in Florida then back to Atlanta for a couple of days before headed back to Blighty. I'm kinda getting used to this heat now, end of the week will be a bit of a shock.

Afternoon Wage Slaves and Dossers,

We're back in Atlanta for a couple of days, its a hot one here so have been to the pool this am then into town for touristy stuff then a bit of US sporting culture tonight - aka a baseball match. Not sure if I'll like a big game of rounders but should be an experience in any event. I know I like hot dogs and beer so surely it can't be that bad

Day has been spent arguing with work over how much holiday I still have left to use/get paid for... despite working full time they're trying to say that even I get 22 days annual leave per year plus the 2 bank holidays I don't work on the rota. This seems to leave me 4 days short of the statutory entitlement of 28... They don't seem to comprehend this. Tomorrow will likely involve more arguing. I know I'll win eventually but it's just a bit tedious, and I'd rather they just shut up and agreed with me.

Anyway, on call tonight, which means no bikes and being bored.

I had a lie in today, at least 15 minutes!

Today is a strange one, I've agreed to go and collect some uniform for some lads as they live miles away from the place they're made (so do I, but quite a few less than them). I don't start work until 2, as it's the day I get my warrant card. I'll officially be able to go after the bad guys as of tonight.

Before all that, I have a lot of assignment work to do, pack the house, phone various companies, eat, shower, and several other things that I'm sure I've forgotten. Me thinks I'm becoming a little stressed mule.
