The question is whose body part?

Soggy day all in all but I escaped early for a suit fitting. Stupid gits missed the turn ups off so its got to go all the way back to Nepal to be redone. You just cant get staff these days...

    Thursday

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday was minging weather. I didn't get half the shizzle done I wanted to.

I got a surprise in the evening when my dog-walking friend came to stay the night. This was very nice, however I'm knackered now, and the dog wants to play but I have my morning rituals to perform in order to wake up!

    Roll on 4pm.

    Laters!

Didn't do any exercise yesterday, so feel pants and now waiting for messages from my mate saying how much better he is at our step challenge

Today is working from home and a run later - how boring

    Evening Tards,

Another day or work, abusing advisors and Teflon desking stuff to minions. Back into the routine then. Got absolutely soaked pedalling home and nearly starfished myself on the Back of Back of van that pulled up sharpish. I've had some extra strong cider to compensate :)

    Fridayyyyy!

    Morning Losers!

TFI Friday! It feels like it's been a long week! It's looking a little moist outside, so I'd better find some waterproofs for the commute!

Roll on 3:30 when I can escape work and start my weekend involving riding, some child's ballet performance, and finding my GCSE results!

    Morning bell whackers,

Just getting up for the fryday bacons fest with eggs, then a trip out doing the tourist thing then the local quiz night where i shall do my best for the team but will finish last. Some people take them far too serious! Peckers!

    Anyway, enjoy your day.

Arrived here Wednesday night, not impressed.
Out for a beer with a few of the neighbours last night. Didn't have too many as I was feeling rough due to the aforementioned manflu. Bunking off early as I have to take the female child to the hospital for an appointment, then it's meeting the Mrs at the pub to start the weekend. Just have to avoid customers and not murderise anyone until then.
    Onwards and upwards...

On train home after a shortish day. Just got to collect Stropteen from somewhere then it's cider o'clock :)

A mate of mine has offered to fettle one of my MTBs for free if I buy the bits so he's got a deal. Thank god for the unemployed.

    Saturday!

    Morning Losers!

I've been panicking for the last 24 hours or so as I need to find my GCSE results for the job interview on Monday, however I can't find them anywhere! I asked my mum to look round her house but she's said she can't find it. I'll have a look myself tomorrow, but it's not looking good. You'd think I could use my degree, but I don't think that will count :/

Today, I'm just having my breakfast and then I'm heading out on my bike. Nice weather by the looks of it, but who knows how long it will last. Then this afternoon I'm off to my dog-walking friends house for the night, but have to watch her little sisters ballet play or something in the evening

Full on man flu meant I left the pub after three pints last night!

Now about to have another bath then watch a movie as the wife does wife taxi stuff. Hopefully better soon as we were meant to be out later

This weekends long run has been cancelled - which really mucks up my training plan

Off out for dinner soon round at my cousins in Norwood. Unfortunately I'm driving. Going to work on Monday will seem like a rest!

    Sunday

Man flu recovery ride into town has shown I'm not recovered :(

So still no long run and probably won't get any jobs done - so won't even get to play with my new wheels (ok it's a wheel barrow)

Happy new wheels mate, chuffed for you. I got a muck truck, shall we set up a wheelbarrow forum?

    Morning wheelers of the barrow,

Lovely day here, just set up some scaffold so some bee keeper type can rip holes in my roof and remove the swarm! My idea of expanding foam to destroy the hive isn't a great idea, but it's a lot cheaper than having a big hole in the roof says I.

Bit of lawnmowing, egg collecting and a trip to the airport to get rid of the parents.

Enjoy your last day of freedom as it's Monday tomorrow!

I don't have a wheelbarrow, mainly because there wouldn't be much space left in the garden, the garage is full of bikes and occasionally a small car. Went car shopping yesterday, not looking good. EPO wants a people carrier type thing. But as it's technically her money we're spending I'm not in a great place to argue. Also why are they all diesels? I want the 240bhp petrol engine. Don't do enough mileage to justify diesel and we'd be clogging it up in town 11 months of the year. Pub later.

If that's the car I think your EPO is after then not a bad choice if you can get it in 240bhp petrol form.

Slightly less frantic day today. Just been listening to the football - good ending 8) . Parent related paperwork later then MOTD and cider.

    Monday

    Morning Losers!

I've had a nice weekend, quite sad for it to end, but not too sad as I've got the day off work anyway.

So today I've got the final interview for a job (though I'm sure it's not over if I'm honest), after this it's a wait-and-see style, which could take a few weeks. I decided to book it on my birthday so that I don't have to deal with that at work. After the interview, I'm meeting up with my dog-walking friend to walk some dogs and then she's taking me out for a nice slap-up meal :)

Good luck for the interview Mr Mule, and happy birthday I believe?!

    Oh joy, it's Monday again.
Good luck and happy birthday TKM. Fun and games for a little while in here as the computers weren't playing, remote server bollox was playing up. All sorted now so trawling through emails when not skiving. Nice and sunny out so had quite a pleasant ride in. Out tonight, going for a beer then to watch Alien Covenant with some mates.
Stevo, Ford Smax with the petrol turbo nutter engine is what we want. Not many of them around unfortunately. Definitely don't want a diesel.

    Afternoon lards of the dance,

Thought beemers were the whip of choice amongst you MAMILs?

Bon chance Tkm and bon anniversaire, surely DWF will be all over you like a rash!

Had a chum appear yesterday to remove a rather large swarm of bees from one of our roofs, was a bit warm and they weren't too chuffed at being made homeless but they've gone to a better place.
Today is a touch showery so the garden maintenance is on hold for a bit.

The trouble n strife has the 2.5 turbo - the pre-facelift version with the old Volvo 5 pot block that they used in the last Focus ST. Nice turn of speed and handling for a small van shaped thing and loads of bells n whistles like adjustable damping. A bit thirsty round town though. If you fancy one with 1 careful lady owner :P .... Realistically I may end up taking it on as my bike carrier-mobile once they get round to banning diesels in London and I have to ditch the Mazda.

Quiet day in the office so I have done some parental admin stuff in advance of the next trip North this weekend to sort through 55 years worth of stuff. I even slept well and had a good warm pedal in - although it might be a bit sweaty on the way home.

It's not the lady on the paperwork that worries me. Dealer tried to get us into a Galaxy as they had one, too big though. Felt more bus like. After 2010 it's a 2.0 turbo and not quite as juicy, unless you let all 240 loose. They hold their money though.
